Organized meeting with nursing leadership and communicated desire to retain existing staff, increase care levels, and remain open. Addressed concerns raised by leadership which included staff morale, benefits, training, and injuries.
Increased communication that new benefits package was better than prior offering and pay plans were more robust, which increased morale. Established new-staff onboarding plan and conducted ongoing training. Workers' compensation claims decreased 15%. Reduced staff turnover 15%.
